Dear JCM parents & students, I hope you are all well and had a relaxing summer break. Please find below the new updated cancellation policy. CANCELLATION POLICY All lessons are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy. Each student is allowed a maximum of three cancellations per academic year, excluding public holidays. (Please refer to our term dates.) Any lessons cancelled beyond the allotted three-lesson allowance will be charged at the regular rate. Please be aware that students with more than two cancellations may forfeit their permanent time slot. In such cases, they can coordinate with us to secure a flexible slot based on tutor availability. Flexible slots will be arranged on a monthly basis, with a specific number of prepaid lessons agreed upon. Once these lessons are confirmed, cancellations will not be accommodated. Kindly note that cancellation notices will only be accepted via email at [email protected]. Please find below the new updated prices for the new academic year 2023/24. 30 minutes lesson - £19.50 1 hour lesson - £38 These rates are the same across all instruments and tutors. Hello everyone. Due to the Corona Virus JCM has decided to try to do as many of the lessons as we can online. We will mainly use Skype and each teacher will give you in person their details on how you can connect with them. We will also offer discounted prices for our online lessons: £15 for 30 minutes £30 for 1 hour The timetable will be arranged between each student and their teacher in person. We do understand that some students, especially early beginners will have difficulty with the online lessons, therefore we will arrange with one of our teachers to come to the school once a week and do the lessons as usual in the class. Below you will find some details and picture examples on how to set up your camera at home for your lesson and how you will see the teacher. PLEASE use a PC, Laptop or Tablet for your lessons as the bigger the screen the better you will see your teacher. Try to avoid mobile phones as they are too small. We are happy to announce our Recital on March 24th 2019 at the 96 Hall(Library)!!!!
The recital will showcase the progress and enthusiasm of our beginners and students up to Grade 2. It is a great chance for our students to play in front of an audience. We welcome everyone to attend and show your support and encouragement to our young performers at the beginning of their musical adventure!!! Looking forward to seeing all of you there!!! The JCM Team We would like to thank everyone who attended our annual concert. Special thanks and congratulations to all our students/ performers who worked hard while preparing for this concert!! We would also like to give thanks to all our teaching team for all their hard work and support!!
It was our most successful concert so far with great solo and band performances! We can't wait for the next one. As we announced at the beginning of the concert, we will do our best to have two concerts per year from now on. The first one will be mostly for our beginners so that they can showcase their efforts and progress. The second will include all levels and styles but mostly intermediate and advanced performances and it will be mostly in the lines of a concert rather than a recital. Thank you very much for such a great day!!! |
